Finally!!

I can't believe that this month is half over and I have only posted once! Seriously, this is pretty sad!

It has been a very busy, busy couple of weeks. Work has been nuts and I even had to go on a road trip. Plus I am exhausted. The last thing I want to do when I come home is get on the computer--since I am on it all day at work. I can read some blogs at work, but can not comment on then, nor can I write on mine.

Plus, Zech has been such a handful lately and I think John and I are both feeling just a tad frustrated, exhausted, etc...!

Nonetheless, it's time to play a little catch up.

A few photos from Christmas I thought I would share:

1. Zech & Jonas

Before Christmas Mel and I thought we would try and get a few photos of the boys in their matching Christmas outfits. Well, we have two busy boys and it was a little more difficult than I think we both anticipated.

2. Christmas in Kelowna.

We spent Christmas Eve at John's parents place. We all went to the candlelight service and then came home for a night of gluttony! We had so many finger foods, goodies and the best was the 2 boxes of crab legs---I definitely splurged!

Christmas Day was at my Sister and Brother-in-laws. We went over for breakfast (yummy) and then opened presents, and in the evening they made a nice Turkey dinner. One of the things I love about the Gooch family is some of their little traditions. Every birthday celebration we all have to wear hats (it's quite funny) and then every Christmas they bring out the Christmas Crackers. You pull them apart and you get a crown (yes we all have to wear our crown while we are eating), a funny little joke and a trinket. I didn't take any pictures of us in our crowns, but I think that John got some video.

Great photos and I'm sure it was so nice to see them again after moving back to Edmonton. It's so wonderful just to be with family over the holidays.

Great photos, Vanessa. I love the photos of Zech and Jonas with matching plaid shirts and Christmas ornaments.
