Today it is a special day and I want to tell my wonderful hubby how much I love him and appreciate him. Since his b-day is so close to Valentine's Day, it was easy to make this for him. I actually got the idea from the Log Your Memory Sweet Talk Challenge #2 (yay--I finished another one), and have been saving this for a bit! ;o) He really liked it and it made him blush a little (hee, hee)!!
We had a nice little b-day party with a few of our close friends. Zechariah picked out the cake that we made and in the end John had to do the final artistic touches on his own cake (he's the artist in the house though)! I will post some more pics. soon!
What a great layout Vanessa! You must have had a fun time and a few chuckles creating it!! Glad that you were able to have a date night on Valentines. Helge and I went out on Valentines, too. We had supper at Earls(recently renovated and gorgeous) in Red Deer, then went to live music with Sam Baker and Gurf Morlix. Tomorrow night were are going to dinner/dance at the Danish Mardi Gras at Spruce View. It is such a treat to finally have some time to ourselves after so many years of parenting!!
