These were the last pictures I took of her and Zech before she passed. I LOVE them and she was so happy to have everyone around. I am also posting a picture of Zech wearing the little outfit that she bought him for his Baby Shower. Aunty Elaine went shopping for her and she was so happy with what Aunty Elaine picked out. I remember her telling me that she just didn't have the energy to go shopping herself (she would have loved to), but she was so pleased with what Aunty Elaine picked out. I do feel so blessed that she got to meet Zech.

Thanks, Vanessa, for posting the pics of Zech and Mom. Seeing Mom wearing the familiar fleece vest and sitting in her kitchen takes me right back to those few months I spent with her. Those memories bring the ache in my heart and the tears in my eyes to the surface. I am so thankful I was able to spend that time with her. Yes, she always looked for the best in everyone, and almost daily expressed how "blessed" she felt. She was so happy that you brought Zech to see her. What a treasure to have pics of Zech and his Great Grandma!

Did you know that Spencer shares a birthdate with Grandma? He is 5 years old today.
I didn't know that your Mom's birthday was just the day before her mom's. That's a very cool connection. What lovely pictures and precious memories you have of her. This reminds me of Heather's great-grandpa who died when she was just a few months old. It's amazing what can trigger a memory :)
